Born February 8, 1956, at Tishomingo, the son of James Pratt and Eva Cantrell Bearden, he died Friday, March 2, 2018, at his home.
Terry graduated from Silo High School in 1974 and studied industrial arts at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. He was a gifted machinist and had a successful career working for Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas before he retired in 2016. Terry enjoyed working on state-of-the-art military aircraft technology and spent time in South Korea assisting with their military aircraft program. When the military aircraft contracts were reduced during the 1990’s, Terry took some time off and returned to Marietta. He bought a small ranch and enjoyed raising cattle and exotic game birds, gardening, and fishing in Red River with his father. After a few years, Terry returned to Lake Worth and resumed his career as a machinist. In addition, he taught industrial art classes at a local college. Terry also enjoyed martial arts and collecting antiques.
