Services for Faith Marie Powers, 21, of Ardmore will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29 in Marietta’s Eastside Baptist Church with Reverend Chris Mauldin officiating.

Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.

Born April 8, 1995 at Ardmore, the daughter of Michael Johnson and Evelyn Powers, she died Sunday, June 24, 2016 at her residence in Ardmore.

 

A 2013 graduate of Lone Grove High School, Faith was raised in Marietta and had also lived in Durant and Caddo as well as Ardmore. She was currently employed as a checker at the Dollar Tree Distribution Center. Faith loved her family and especially enjoyed attending family reunions. In addition to being an excellent artist, she enjoyed photographing individuals and listening to music. She also loved animals and had four pets she adored, Saura, Delilah, Kild, and Jax.

Faith was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Frank L. Powers, and her paternal grandparents, Cecil and Norma Johnson.


Survivors include her fiancé, Brad Partain of the home in Ardmore; mother and stepfather, Evelyn and Thomas Parrott of Lone Grove; father and stepmother, Michael and Jaime Johnson of Marietta; maternal grandmother, Nancy Powers and her fiancé Jerry McMurtrey of Lone Grove; six brothers, Mikey Johnson and Eli Johnson of Marietta and Benjamin Parrott, Draven Parrott, Nathan Parrott, and Tevis Parrott, all of Lone Grove; aunt, Casandra Ayars of San Antonio; and uncle Jeff Johnson of Oklahoma City.


Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Johnson, Brent Hilton, Greg Hunt, Mike Word, Steven Gore, and Todd Speaks. Honorary bearers are Cody Barber, Noah Barber, Dakota Stiles, Ryan Partain, Christopher Riddle, and Clifton Riddle.


Time of visitation for family and friends will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, July 28 at the funeral home.


The family suggests memorial contributions to the Ardmore Animal Shelter, c/o Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, 100 East Main Street, Marietta, OK 73448.
