Sharon Sampson Migues was born in the Addington Bend Community of Love County on December 28, 1940, the daughter of O.C. and Mildred Ann Scivally Sampson. She passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, in Oak Point, TX at the age of 74.
 
A resident of the Denton, TX area for the past 10 years, Sharon had previously lived in Gainesville, TX. She and Phil J. Migues were married in New Iberia, LA on January 30, 1970. A homemaker, Sharon enjoyed reading, doing genealogy, and helping people. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren. Sharon was a Christian.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Virgil, James, and V.J. Sampson; and three sisters, Violet Gowdy, Edith Marchbanks, and Glenda Sisson.

Survivors include her husband, Phil of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Julian and Rhina Migues, also of the home; daughter, Crystal West of Oak Point; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine and Cliff Midgley and Murlene and Jerry Sanders, all of Wister, OK; sister-in-law, Judi McElreath and husband Joe of Gainesville; four grandchildren, Jordan West, Phoenyx Migues and wife Alelhy, Geovany Avelar, and Minette Migues; and a great-granddaughter, Amaryllis Migues.
 
Serving as casket bearers are Jason Sampson, John Sampson, George Midgley, Lance Midgley, Mitch Sampson, and Glenn Sisson. Honorary bearers are Russell Broussard and Matt Sanders.
