Services for Brenda Jo Dees McGill, 66, of Marietta will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13 in Marietta's First Baptist Church with Brother Murray McMurray officiating.

Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.
 
Born December 25, 1949, at Marietta, the daughter of Adren D. and Elsie Lucille Chitwood Dees, she died Monday, May 9, 2016, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
 
Brenda had been a resident of Love County all of her life. She graduated from Marietta High School as co-salutatorian of the 1968 class. She and Jerry McGill were married in Fort Worth, Texas, on June 25, 2013. At the time of her death, Brenda was employed as secretary for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in Love County. She enjoyed camping, fishing, family gatherings, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brenda was an active member of Marietta's First Baptist Church.
 
Preceding her in death were her parents; first husband, Larry C. Hull on November 27, 2009; and two brothers, Robert Nelson Dees and Richard Don Dees.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry of the home; two daughters, Toi Ecco Bone and Thad Nielson, and Lorry and Joe Stilley, all of the Shady Dale Community; nine grandchildren, Josee and Steven Reeves, Jordan and Garrett Crossley, Jacie Bone, Tristan Hull, Zac McGill, Tristan Wood, Zaida Wood, Caliber Nielson, and Trishna Nielson; two great-grandchildren, Augustus Reeves and Addy McGill; two sisters-in-law, Maxine Dees of Marietta and Linda Dees of the Greenville Community; and a special aunt, Alta Faye Yocum of Burneyville.

Serving as pallbearers will be Thad Nielson, Joe Stilley, Steven Reeves, Garrett Crossley, Tristan Hull, and Bill McGill. Honorary bearers are ODOT employees, employees of the Love County Courthouse and the three Commissioners Districts, R.E.A. Board of Directors and employees, and doctors, nurses and staff of Mercy Health Love County.
 
A time of visitation for family and friends will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12 at the funeral home.
 
The family suggest memorial contributions to the Relay for Life of Love County, P.O. Box 283, Marietta, OK 73448.

Services for Larry C. Hull, 64, of the Shady Dale community, were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1 in Marietta’s First Baptist Church, with Bro. Murray McMurray and Rev. John Sconce officiating.

Interment followed in Lakeview Cemetery.

Born January 1, 1945 at Burneyville, the son of Clyde Clayton “Jack” and Lily Mae Shankles Hull, he died Friday, November 27, 2009 in Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore.

Mr. Hull grew up in the Simon community and attended elementary school at Meadowbrook and Courtney, graduating from Turner High School in 1963. He and Brenda Jo Dees were married January 11, 1971 at Sherman, Texas, and the couple had made their home in the Shady Dale community for the past 38 years. Always a “Cowboy at Heart,” Mr. Hull worked for Baccacita Cattle Company and the Norman Oakman Ranches. He retired after 12 years from Offshore Drilling where he was employed throughout the world as a rig superintendent. In addition, Mr. Hull was a licensed barber. He was a lover of animals, raising both dogs and game chickens. Mr. Hull was a member of the Oklahoma Gamefowl Breeder’s Association. He also enjoyed team roping, hog hunting, fishing, raising a large garden and cooking outdoors for family and friends. His love of watching his grandchildren participate in sports was immeasurable in pride and love. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Jo Hull of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Don and Sandy Hull of Dickson and Billy Lynn and Shannon Hartman of Falconhead; two daughters and son-in-law, Toi Bone and Lorry and Joe Stilley, all of Shady Dale; six grandchildren, Laramie Hull, Josee Williamson, Jordan Lunsford, Jacie Bone, Tristan Hull and Lane Hull; a brother, Gary Hull of Thackerville; two brothers-in-law, Robert and Maxine Dees of Marietta and Don and Linda Dees of Greenville; sister-in-law, Lorri Hull of Marietta; companions, Kipper and Daisy; and numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Johnny Hull and Terry Hull; and a nephew, Mark Hull.

Pallbearers were David Hull, Dale Hull, Brian Dees, Dan Dees, Charles Shankles and Mike  Morton. Honorary bearers were Murle Gregory, Jeff Harris, L.J. Lornes, Richard Cain, Robert Sprouse, Chris McMahon, Son Banks, John Nipp, Dan Hartman, Ronnie Voyles, Marcus Dees, Dr. Tom O’Connor and the nurses and staff of Mercy Health Love County.
