Mrs. Mason was born February 6, 1917, in Marietta, and died August 29, 1994. She was the daughter of Alton and Alva Daugherty Woodcock.
Mrs. Mason had been a resident of Oklahoma City since 1945, moving there from Thackerville. She was self-employed in the produce business at the Farmers Public Market. Mrs. Mason was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Monte L. Mason of Chandler; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol A. and Jerry Byke of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Alvin Woodcock of Ardmore and Calvin Woodcock of Utah; three sisters, Francis Maderra of Thackerville, Marie Coker of Oklahoma City, and Vanita McGuffey of Mead; four grandchildren, Jerry Byke II, Monte L. Mason II and Suzanne Byke, all of Oklahoma City, and Alicha Mason of Chandler; two great-grandchildren, Kristen Byke of Oklahoma City and Paij Beck of Guthrie; numerous loving nieces and nephew and a former daughter-in-law, Delietha Hernandez.
Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her husband, Allie W. Mason; a brother, Henry Woodcock; and a sister, Iris Woodcock.
Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuaries, Oklahoma City, was in charge of services.
