She lived in many different towns because of construction jobs that her
father worked. Glenda first attended school in Gladewater, TX. Then at
the age of 12, her family moved back to Oklahoma to live on her
grandmother's Chickasaw allotment, where she completed her public
schooling in Thackerville and Marietta. Glenda continued her education
and later graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with her
Bachelor's in Secondary Education. Glenda was a certified teacher in
Oklahoma working in Special Education. She was later employed by the
Winstar World Casino gift shop for thirteen years.
When her mother passed away, Glenda raised her youngest brother and
sister. Then later when her brother passed away, she assisted in raising
her niece and two nephews.
Glenda enjoyed reading and sharing tales she heard from her parents and
grandparents. She took joy in gardening with spring flowers being her
favorite. She especially enjoyed taking Amber to art exhibits and
classes, meeting new friends, decorating Christmas trees, and cooking
holiday meals. She loved much and was loved by many.
Glenda was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristina; son, Jonathan;
mother, Bonnie Jean Liddell; father, Billy Douglas Liddell;
grandparents, Evylee and Claude Brewer and Minnie Keel and Daniel Vernon
Liddell; brother, Bobby Daral Liddell; and a niece and nephews.
She is survived by daughter, Amber Justina Liddell; sisters, Donna
Elizabeth Hartman and Amy Liddell; brothers, Billy Liddell, Jr. and wife
Martha, Mike Liddell and wife Vanessa, Murray Liddell, Brian Liddell and
wife Teresa; and many nieces and nephews.
