Services for Betty June Lambert, 80, of Marietta were held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 24 in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Marietta with Rev. Tommy Higle officiating.

Interment followed in the Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.

Born June 2, 1930 in Picher, the daughter of Robert Lee “Pete” and Ruthie May Guest Wall, she died Thursday, January 20, 2011 in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta. Mrs. Lambert had been a resident of Love County most of her life. A homemaker, she was an avid gardener and also enjoyed quilting. She was very active in the Marietta Assembly of God, teaching Sunday School and serving as a prayer warrior. She also loved the time she could spend with her family.

Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Steven Ray Butler; six brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Gayle Riley of Marietta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Morris Nalls of Ardmore and Donna and Roger Ditto of Overbrook; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were Lavon Hicks, Ralph Tullis, J.T. Riley, Tim Tibbs, Steve Bell and Roger Ditto. Honorary bearers were Floyd Gwin, Diane Clark, Charlie and Mary Hughes, Louise Whatley and Nita Sinclair.
