Mrs. Johnson was born at Provence November 16, 1920, the daughter of Adam Brokeshoulder, Jr. and Sweeney Postoak Brokeshoulder, and died September 26, 1991, in the Love County Health Center, Marietta.
She married Frank Johnson October 19, 1938, at Madill. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the McAlister Baptist Church at Overbrook.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Johnson of the home in Marietta; four sons, Calvin L. Johnson of Garland, Texas, Ronald W. Johnson of Marietta, Billy R. Johnson of Ardmore, and Kenneth J. Johnson of Durant; three daughters, Shirley A. Thompson of Marietta, Rita F. Scott of Ada, and Barbara L. Williams of Ardmore; a brother, Thomas Brokeshoulder of Ardmore; and 13 grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy F. Johnson in 1988.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home, Ardmore.
Serving as casket bearers were Leland Daniel, Russell Johnson, Jay Herschel, Ed Marris, Eddie Brokeshoulder, and Floyd Brokeshoulder.
