Services for Mary J. Huff, 41, of Marietta, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, at the Eastside Baptist Church, Marietta, with the Rev. Ronnie Harris and the Rev. Steve Gardner officiating.

Interment was in the Lakeview Cemetery.

Born July 8, 1965, in Ardmore, the daughter of Sam and Mary Cole Hernaiz, she died Saturday June 16, 2007, in Mercy Health Love County Hospital, Marietta. She had been a resident of Love County most of her life, except for a few years at Davis. She and Gary Huff were married September 24, 1992 in Marietta. A homemaker, Mrs. Huff enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Huff loved her family and was especially proud of her children. Her world revolved around her granddaughter, Jacilyn. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, Marietta.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Huff of the home; her mother, Mary Hernaiz of Thackerville; three sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Ashley Huff of Ardmore, Christopher Huff of Marietta and Dusty Huff of the home; a daughter, Santania Hernaiz of Marietta; a granddaughter, Jacilyn Huff of Ardmore; a brother, Sam “Bo” Hernaiz of Thackerville; and two sisters, Linda Franks of Gainesville, Texas, and Tammy and Harold Hernaiz of Thackerville.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Hernaiz; and her grandparents, Loyd and June Baccus. Pallbearers were Terry Dougherty, Mike Buxton, Steve Henson, Allen Chambers, Michael Willis, and Joe Russell.

Honorary pallbear was Dutch Knowles.
