Private family services for Frankie Joyce Hilton, 95, of Loves Valley, OK will be arranged by Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta, OK.

Interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta. 

Frankie was born October 7, 1925, at Gainesville, TX, the daughter of Frances (Bennett) and George Porter. She passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.

Frankie grew up in Gainesville and was a graduate of Gainesville High School. She continued her education at the Texas College for Women in Denton, TX. She graduated with a teaching certification. Frankie married the love of her life, Ray Hilton on June 30, 1955, in Marietta and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2003. Frankie taught a year at Kerens in Navarro County, TX and a year at Farmerville in Hunt County, TX, then for the next 39 years at Marietta High School retiring in 1988. She loved quilting, watching her cattle and wanted to know about anything new that was going on in her grandchildren’s lives. 


Survivors include her son, Roger Hilton and wife Angie of Marietta; grandchildren, Honor Page Griffin and husband Josh of Healdton, OK, Isis Faith Butcher and husband Daniel of Enville, OK, and Mason Lamar Hilton of Marietta; great-granddaughter, Hildee Mae Griffin of Healdton; and sister, Katheryn Moore of Marietta.
