A Celebration of Life will be held at the Falconhead Chapel at 2 p.m.
Born March 27, 1938 at Alma, Nebraska, the daughter of Lloyd David and Frances Marie Tague Mays, she died Sunday, September 8, 2019 in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
Helen was a 1956 graduate of Goodland High School in Goodland, Kansas. She married Harold L. Kreamer who preceded her in death. She would later marry Harold Duane Hege who preceded her in death on February 24, 2012. Helen worked as an administrator for the City of Keller, Texas before coming to Love County. While residing in Love County, Helen served on the board at Falconhead and attended the Eastman Baptist Church. She loved sewing, doing alterations, as well as cooking and baking.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Dale Kreamer; grandson, Shaun Robert Hubbard; two sisters, Arlyce Nadine Hansen and Doris Elaine Roeder; and a brother, Donald Kay Mays.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Marie Radcliff of Burneyville; son, Michael Allan Kreamer of Hutchison, Kansas; sister, Evelyn Dee Dawursk of Saint Cloud, Florida; brother, David Wayne Mays and wife Sheryl of Denton, Texas; two grandchildren, Lisa Marie Gibson of Falconhead and Amy Dawn Hubbard of Great Bend, Kansas; five great-grandchildren, Brittany Marie Gibson of Manhattan, Kansas, Seth Edward Gibson of Falconhead, Christopher Joseph Hubbard of Falconhead, Alyssa Dawn Hubbard of Falconhead and Brenyn Robert Hubbard of Great Bend; great-great-grandchild, Briella Marie Bishop of Manhattan; six nephews; and five nieces.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Hubbard, Seth Gibson, Greg Mays, Jason Bishop, John Gibson and Shawn Johnston. Honorary bearers are Brittany Marie Gibson, Alyssa Dawn Hubbard, Brenyn Robert Hubbard and Briella Marie Bishop.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held Friday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice.
