Services for Cordia Harris were conducted November 10 at 4:00 p.m. in the Anderson-Kennedy Chapel with Rev. Tommy Higle, pastor of Marietta’s First Baptist Church, officiating.

Born July 22, 1910, in Cooke County, Texas, Mrs. Harris died November 9, 1994, in the Love County Health Center, Marietta, at the age of 84. She was the daughter of Abe and Lottie Moore Hartman.

A resident of Love County all of her life, Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and a member of Marietta’s First Baptist Church. She married Walter Harris on July 31, 1926, in Madill, and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1973.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Roy A. Harris on May 1972; a sister and six brothers.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and two granddaughter s, LeeAnn Harris and Vicki Harris.

Services were directed by the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in Lakeview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Sonny Hartman, Harold Birdsall, Son Taliaferro, Boog Taliaferro, P.A. Hartman and Tommy Hartman.
