Royce Glenn Hambrick of Marietta, OK, was born February 28, 1946, in Gainesville, TX, the son of Cecil Floyd "Pete" and Ethel Rosie Hallum Hambrick. He passed away Friday, July 4, 2008, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, after a year-long battle with cancer at the age of 62. A resident of Love County most of his life, Mr. Hambrick was a 1964 graduate of Turner High School. He furthered his education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant, earning a BS Degree.
 
Mr. Hambrick and Patsy Darlene Fincher were married September 3, 1966, in Love County, OK. He retired in 1993 from the Accounting Department of Uniroyal, Ardmore. The last three months he had been employed by the Chickasaw Gaming Commission. Mr. Hambrick was known as "Mr. Fix It" around the house, always doing home repairs, gardening and landscaping. He also enjoyed coaching Little League, watching his granddaughters play ball. Mr. Hambrick was a member of the Marietta Church of Christ.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Randall J. Hambrick.

Survivors: Wife, Patsy Hambrick of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Glenn & Tammy Hambrick of Thackerville, OK; daughter and son-in-law: Sheila Jo and Matthew Groves of Edmond; 4 grandchildren, Britney Michele Hambrick, Tamara Nicole Hambrick, Rylee Jo Groves and Kage Matthew Hambrick Groves; nephew, Greg & Jenny Hambrick of Marietta, OK; great-nieces: Ashley & Jamie Hambrick of Marietta, OK. 
 
Officiating: Bro. Travis Huffman. Casket Bearers: Joe Dale Fincher, Mike Fincher, Ernie Fincher, Jimmy Don Fincher, Jody Fincher and Lavon Hicks. Honorary bearers: Mike Caldwell, Jim Bob Campbell, Billy Bob Cross, Delbert Daugherty, Dr. J.T. O'Connor, Kelton Strickland, Rick Brannan, Paul Hallum, Brent Fincher, Murie Gregory, J.B. Gray, C.A. Robinson, Integris Home Health, Nursing Staff of Mercy Health Love County and the Thackerville Girls Softball & Basketball Teams.
