A Gathering of Remembrance and inurnment for Edna LaRee Hallum, 61, of Marietta will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 22 at Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.

Born December 13, 1958 at Ardmore, the daughter of Carlton and Virginia Price Howard, she went to Heaven on Saturday, May 16, 2020. LaRee attended school at Marietta where she was in the band and choir. She graduated from Marietta High School with the Class of 1977. She worked at the Marietta Cookie Shop for 16 years and later for Big Five Community Services for five years. She enjoyed working at Big Five as it put her in contact with and helping the elderly. LaRee and Ronald Hallum were married January 28, 2006 at Ardmore. They made their home in Marietta. LaRee’s family meant the world to her, especially her children and grandchildren. When she was down and they would visit she was so happy and loved them all dearly.

LaRee’s father, Carlton Howard preceded her in death in 2003.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Hallum; sons, Brian and Jesse Davis; daughter, Salina Ozuna; mother, Virginia Howard; sisters, Jan Benton and Mona Flanagan and husband David; her beloved grandchildren, Devin Davis, Landon Davis, Jaden Davis, Nicholas Davis, Kason Davis, Jaxon Davis, Zaydon Davis, Adelyn Davis and Sydney Davis; also a host of classmates and friends.
