Urbano Andrade Gomez, 76, of Marietta, OK passed away on May 20, 2022 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born January 15, 1946 in Ojo De Agua, Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Simona (Andrade) and Thomas Gomez.
 
Urbano grew up in Mexico and relocated to the Love County in the 1960’s. He worked for the Cookie Factory for many years and then WinStar World Casino. He married his bride Maria Petra Gomez and she preceded him in death on November 5, 2010. Urbano enjoyed gardening, eating at the Sirloin Stockade in Ardmore, OK and spending time with his family and friends.
 
Those left to carry on his memory are his brothers, Ricardo Gomez and wife Leonila of Marietta, Pablo Gomez and wife Petra of Marietta; sisters, Angela Gomez of Mexico, Guadelupe Gomez of Texas, Rosa Gomez of Ft. Worth, TX, and Reinalda Gomez of Mexico.
 
Urbano was preceded in death by his wife, Petra Gomez; parents, Simona and Thomas Gomez; and brother, Fidel Gomez.

Funeral mass for Urbano will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022, in the Good Shepard Catholic Church, Marietta with Father Carl Kerkemeyer officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday with the rosary starting at 7:00 p.m.

 
Casket bearers are Manuel Gomez, Carlos Carrasco, Sebastian Sinfuentez, Pablo Gomez, Josemez Martinez, and Marcos Perez.
