Services for Bill Fox, 62, were Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Enville Community Church, with Rev. Joel Downing, Bro. Murray McMurray and Ronnie Willis officiating.

Born April 27, 1937 at Sulphur, the son of Claude and Myrtle Ross Fox, Mr. Fox died February 12, 2000 at Mercy Health Love County. A resident of Marietta since 1964, he married Susie Yamada on September 10, 1957 in Tokyo, Japan.  Mr. Fox retired from REA in January of 1997 after 32 years of service.  He was of the Protestant faith and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army.  He enjoyed playing dominoes and pitch and visiting with his friends.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy Fox and Jerry & Tracy Fox all of Marietta; a brother, Albert Fox of Durant; two sisters, Mary Lee Rollins of Lindsay, and Wanda Bingham of Stanfield, Arizona; five grandchildren, Billy, Amanda, Lindsey, Brittany and Jessica Fox; and a special friend, Sheri Cartwright of Burneyville.

Mr. Fox was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Fox, on July 16, 1998, and a son, Billy Fox, Jr., on August 7, 1987.

Pallbearers were Bub Perry, Bo Dailey, Dick Michael, Phil McMillan, Lynn Puckett, Jerry McGill and Ed Sampson.  Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Tom O'Connor, REA Board of Directors, Past and Present REA Employees. 

Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of the Kennedy Funeral Home.
