Frances Louise (Johnson) Fountain

Graveside services for Frances Louise Fountain, 75, were held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery with Bro. Murray McMurray officiating.

Mrs. Fountain was born July 8, 1924, in St Paul, Minnesota, and died February 12, 2000, in Arlington Memorial Hospital, Arlington, Texas.  She was the daughter of James V. and Marie L. Weingarth Johnson. Mrs. Fountain had been a resident of Arlington, Texas, since 1954.  She and Robert F. Fountain, Jr. were married on February 18, 1946, in Olathe, Kansas. 

He preceded her in death on April 15, 1989. 

Mrs. Fountain served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  She was a member of the American Legion in Dallas.  Mrs. Fountain was a homemaker and a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Edith Fountain of Arlington; a brother, Floyd Johnson of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; and two grandchildren.

Services were under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
