Ernie Fincher, of Mannsville, Oklahoma, was born on January 13, 1954, in Marietta, OK to James "Earnest" and Onetta Ruby (Stuckey) Fincher. He passed from this life on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 70 years.
 
Ernie attended Marietta Schools, where he excelled in football and track, and graduated in 1973. He went to work for the Uniroyal Tire Company as a forklift operator and later retired from Michelin North America aft 30 years. He was a longtime member of the First Assembly of God in Mannsville.
 
Ernie was a highly active man. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, gardening, dancing, and running cattle. He loved spending time with his family and friends, but nothing brought as much joy as spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
He recently married the former Laurie Bishop in Madill, OK on May 16, 2024.
 
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Don Fincher; sister, Barbara Kay Fincher; brother-in-law, Royce Hambrick; and his previous wife, Debbie Fincher.
 
Left to cherish Ernie's memory are his wife, Laurie Fincher of the home; daughters, Kasy Fincher and Traci Fincher, both of Ardmore, OK, and Amy Fincher of Kingston, OK; a bonus daughter, Tamera Buckaloo-Mills of Ardmore; stepson, Casey Norrell of Ardmore; grandchildren, Shannon Holt, Kamren Morris, Trey Greenwood, Abbigail Bui, Addisyn Bui, Makyla Dixon, Macie Dixon, and Mila Dixon; great-grandchildren, Pyper Holt and Dodge Matney; three step-grandsons and one step-granddaughter; brothers, Joe Dale Fincher of Marietta; Mike Fincher and wife Becky of Ardmore, and Brent Fincher of Ardmore; and a sister, Patricia Hambrick of Marietta.
 
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Lawrence Anderson officiating.

Interment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, 100 East Main Street, Marietta.
 
Casket bearers will be Jody Fincher, Caleb Fincher, Nathan Fincher, Jimbo Fincher, Brandon Fincher, Chad Lemmons, and Greg Greenwood. Honorary casket bearers are Casey Norrell, Mike Fincher, Joe Fincher, Steve Reed and Rick Brannan.
