Debbie Faye (Cox) Davis was born January 29, 1956, in Oklahoma City to Donley Dee and Clara Faye Martindale Cox. She passed on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at her residence in Marietta.
 
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Hubert; son, Bobby; and sister, Patty.
 
Survivors include her brothers, Dan, Stan, and David; sisters, Laveda and Twilla; stepchildren, Glenn, Marilyn, and Connie; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her honorary sister and friend of 38 years, Linda Nelson.
 
Debbie enjoyed reading, being with her family, and spending time with Linda anytime and anywhere, but particularly at the lake.
 
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3 at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Marietta with Jeff Dooley officiating and Donna Ballard assisting. Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.
 
Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, Braxton Davis, Jamie Davis, Michael Wood, and Baylon Burt and nephews, Jacob Cox, Jimmy Cox, Keeper Cox, and Dillon Cox. Honorary bearers were Debbie's many friends and colleagues at Marietta Public Schools.
