Born October 18, 1919, Mrs. Cranmore died December 5, 1992, in the Southwest Medical center, Oklahoma City, at the age of 73. She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Cora Robinson Tipton. A resident of Marietta most of her life, Mrs. Cranmore was a homemaker and a member of the Assemblies of God Church. She married Jess Cranmore October 23, 1933, in Marietta
She is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, DeLois and John Powers, Joyce and Charles Jones, Nancy and Frank Powers, and Mary and Waine Stephens of Marietta, and LuAnn and Joseph Anderson of Ardmore; five brothers, Leo Tipton and Odell Tipton of Wichita Falls, Texas, Billy Tipton of Weatherford, Texas, and Murray Tipton and Doc Tipton of Marietta; two sisters, Birdie Mitchell of Wichita Falls and Frances Grice of Marietta; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cranmore was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Cranmore on August 8, 1990; three sons, Donnie Cranmore in 1937, Thomas Cranmore in 1939, and Kenneth Cranmore in 1977; and a brother, Clarence Tipton.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Wesley Stephens, Johnny Oliphant, Tony Swint, Johnny Swint, Jack Hough, and Glen Hearell.
