Graveside services for Mary Frances Cooper, 89, of the Enville community were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 26 in the Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta with Reverend Don Keizor officiating.
 
Born September 12, 1931 at Marietta, the daughter of Clarence and Vivian Clayton Willis, she died Friday, January 22, 2021 in Lake Country Nursing Center, Marietta.

Mary grew up in Love County and attended the Enville School. In 1948 she moved to west Texas, returning to Love County after 25 years. Mary married Elmer J. Cooper in Palestine, Texas and he preceded her in death. She enjoyed crocheting hats and giving them to her family and friends. Mary was an active member of the Enville Community Church.
 
In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was also preceded in death by a brother, C.O. Willis, and sister, Mildred Willis-Lemons and husband Lee.

Survivors include brothers, Jerry Willis and wife JoAnn of Marietta, Don Willis and wife Lillian Alene of Marietta, Larry Willis of Childress, Texas and Charles Clayton and wife Judy of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Gary Willis, Jeremy Willis, Jerry Willis, Joe Willis, Scott Willis, and Steve Willis. Honorary bearers were Don Willis and Bobby Dale Lemons.
