Mrs. Cole was born November 19, 1945, in Ardmore and died December 15, 1992, in the Love County Health Center, Marietta. She was the daughter of Ollie James and Norma C. Renick Testerman.
Mrs. Cole, a resident of Norman since 1990, had previously lived in Marietta where she taught Kindergarten and First Grade for 12 years. She graduated from East Central University, Ada, I 1967 and received her Masters Degree in 1974 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant. She married Jerry Cole May 28, 1966, in Ardmore. Mrs. Cole was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Cole of the home in Norman; and two sons, Jamey Cole and John Cole of the home.
Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her father, Ollie Testerman on November 11, 1972; and her mother, Norma Testerman on January 12, 1991.
Services were under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joey Lowe, Kevin Lowe, Ronnie Norton, Shane Norton, Ron Westfall, Trey Westfall, Bill Brewster, and Richard Agnew. Honorary bearers included Pete Archbald, Gene Washburn, Vestal Bennett, Larry Hinton, Allen Woody, Erin Lillard, Dr. Tom O’Connor, and Jack Testerman.
The family requests that donations be made to the Love County Cancer Fund, c/o Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home, 100 East Main, Marietta.
