Services for Debbra Darleen “Debbie” Clement, 58, of Marietta were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 31 in the Marietta First Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Norton officiating.

Interment followed in the Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.

Born February 26, 1963 in Escalon, California, the daughter of Nelson “Dude” and Eva Mae Cobb Powell, she died Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City.


Debbie was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Thackerville High School Class of 1981. She worked as a radiologist/technologist specializing in mammograms for Mercy Hospital, Ardmore. She retired after 26 years. Debbie was as colorful as the paint by number paintings she liked creating. She had two dogs that were more spoiled than her children, but not as much as her grandchildren. Debbie loved shopping with her granddaughters and cooking for family and friends. She was a member of the Marietta First Baptist Church. Debbie was full of life and loved spending time with her family and friends.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Mae Powell.


Survivors include her daughter, Samantha Manning and husband Michael of Marietta; son, Laramie Clement of Oklahoma City; father, Nelson Powell of Marietta; brother, Timothy Dale Powell and wife Kelly of Marietta; sister, Ronda Gale Price and husband Eugene of Callisburg, Texas; grandchildren, Jordyn, Jacee, Bailey, and Dakota; three aunts; an uncle; five nieces; two nephews; 15 great-nieces and nephews; and lots of cousins.


Serving as pallbearers were Ethan Willis, Laramie Clement, Timothy Powell, Michael Manning, Juan Salinas, and Ricky Dale McMillin. Honorary bearers were Jay Thompson, Ernie Baker, Jacky Baker, and Michael Sampson.
