Despondent over business entanglements, LUCIAN CARROLL, 60, leading furniture merchant of Marietta, member of the school board there, and prominent in civic affairs, committed suicide. His body was found in a small barn adjacent to the home. Carroll was owner and operator of the L. Carroll Furniture Co. at Marietta. .. He is survived by his widow and one son who lives in Missouri. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon.
