Services for Andrew "Bay" Ladner, 76, were Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Branch President Dale Elsik officiating.

Born January 26, 1924, at Jimtown to Sylvester and Mattie Johnson Ladner, he died February 10, 2000, at his residence in Dallas.

Survivors include his wife, Frances, of the home; two sons, Phil Ladner & Tony Ladner, both of Grand Prairie, Texas; one daughter, Teresa Phillips, Plano, Texas; one brother, Ott Ladner, Jimtown; six sisters, Ruby Mapp of Jimtown, Azaline Hays & Sue Taliaferro of Marietta, Poline Monkres of DeSoto, Texas, Grace Graham of Duncanville, Texas, and Frances Foster of Tilden, Texas; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Ladner was preceded in death by his parents; a step-mother, Audrey Ladner; four brothers, Wester Ladner, Charlie Ladner, Richard Ladner and Buck Ladner; and two sisters, Emma Ladner and Epsy Harris.  

Interment was in the Jimtown Cemetery, under the direction of Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, and Kennedy Funeral Home of Marietta.
