Birth: Dec. 12, 1822 Conecuh County Alabama, USA Death: Jan. 31, 1899 Marsden Love County Oklahoma, USA

This individual was not listed on any of the burial lists for the cemetery.

Source: Stuckey Researchers Family tradition in the Stephen J. Stuckey family was that he had been buried near Marsden in Love co., OK. A funeral record was found showing "old man Stuckey" buried at the Gordon Cemetery. Informant is Tom Sharrock, a Brawley relation linked to the Stuckeys through marriage of daughter, Phariba (Stuckey) Brawley. Interviews with Phariba's descendants provide info of Phariba's husband, John Wesley Brawley, also being buried in the Gordon Cemetery.

Survey of the cemetery June 11, 2009 found no tombstone for this individual. There are many burial stakes in the cemetery which of course have no names or dates. There are also many small, rough-type slate's wedged into the ground for burial makers but none of these have info on them.
