Eugene V Smith

BIO:

Birth: Nov. 22, 1912 Love County Oklahoma, USA Death: 1923 Marsden Love County Oklahoma, USA

S/O Andrew "Andy" Calvin Smith and Iva "Ivy" Ann (Tanner).

Even though tombstone (not his original stone) shows Eugene Smith as being born in "1913", a Marsden School Census, dated 1922, lists his birthdate as being Nov. 22, 1912. School Census listed his father as being "A. C. Smith, which was Andrew Calvin Smith".

Photo on the Left - This photo was taken of the full grave. When the cemetery was barely cleaned and before the Jacksons put up their big locked gate, someone came to the cemetery and placed this handmade heart stone at this grave. Before that, there was only the rocks you see in the photo. I've never been able to find who visited or who made the stone. To me, this stone represented that even thought the old cemetery had not been cared for in years past, someone in Eugene's family still thought of his burial there.

Parents: Andrew Calvin Smith (1857 - 1932) Ivy Ann Tanner Smith (1876 - 1958)
