Birth: Dec. 15, 1871 Death: Jul. 18, 1917

R. L. Harris ( Gordon Cemetery ) Memorial# 14353270 was the son of James Newton Harris, but by James' first marriage to Martha Fanny Moore. Martha's exact death date and burial location is unknown; they had 4 surviving children before she died. Their children were: Henry Newton Harris John D. Harris Robert Lee Harris Mollie Marie Harris (m. Johnson)

James then married Ruth Elizabeth Cabe and they had 10 more children: David Walter Harris Della E Harris (m. Walker ) Ola Hasseltine Harris (m. DeGarmo) Percival Lester Harris Archie Rudolph Moore Harris Leonadus Alton Harris Otis D. Harris Arlin Louie Harris Bessie Blanch Harris (m. Jones) Claude Claremore Harris
