Frank Junior Percy, 95, of Madill passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his home in Madill. He was born on May 10, 1926 in Dunbar to the late Overton Frank Percy and Rosella Brown Percy. Frank was raised in Dunbar and graduated from Turner High School where he enjoyed playing basketball. He moved to Oklahoma City where he worked for the Sears Corporation until he retired in 1990. Frank moved to Madill in 2015 where he lived the rest of his life. He was of the Baptist faith and loved his cows and pigs, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ida Mae Gaines; and grandson, Stevie Gaines.

Survivors include his grandson, Willy Gaines Jr. and wife Christy of Madill; great-grandchildren, Chase Cavitt and wife Kara and Chance Cavitt and wife Emily, all of Marietta; great-great-grandchildren, Haven, Kash and Memphis Matthews; and a step-son, J.C. Anderson.
 
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, at the Nazarene Baptist Church, Marietta with Lawrence Anderson and Eugene Bellard officiating.

Interment followed at the Dunbar Cemetery.


Serving as pallbearers were Bob Watkins, Chase Cavitt, Chance Cavitt, Larry Hartman, Melvin Douglas and Willie Ed Douglas.
