Graveside services for Leona Gaines of Burneyville were held November 21 at 11 a.m. in the Dunbar Cemetery with Rev. John Bates officiating.

Born July 11, 1923 in Ran, Mrs. Gaines died November 19 in an Ardmore hospital.

Mrs. Gaines had lived in Love County all of her life. She was married to Jilee Gaines on May 14, 1942 and was a member of the Nazarene Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jilee Gaines, of the home; four sons, J.B. Gaines of Dallas, Texas, LaJoy Gaines of Redland, California, Roy L. Gaines of Fairfield, California, and Olton L. Gaines of Kennewich, Washington; two daughters, Cherrie Jones of Marietta and Charietta M. Gaines of the home; her mother, Mrs. Myra Revels of Ran; three brothers, Leon Revels of Wichita, Kansas, Charles Revels of Lone Wolf, and Ermus Revels of Ran; two sisters, Arnetta Johnson of Ran and Cordelia Traylor of Los Angeles, California; and 18 grandchildren.

Services were under the direction of the Goodrich-Anderson Funeral Home.
