Services for Essie Bea Shaw Daniels were at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the St. John Primitive Baptist Church, Burneyville, with Elder Willie McGaskey officiating.

Ms. Daniels was born in Burneyville and died in an Oklahoma City Health Care facility July 21, 1998, at the age of 86.  She was the daughter of Sally (Gaines) and Ben Shaw. A Love County resident most of her life, she moved to Oklahoma City due to failing health.

Among her survivors are a sister, Nona McCarroll of Oklahoma City; and a brother-in-law, Moses Blair of Marietta.

Interment was in the Dunbar Cemetery, Burneyville, directed by Kirk-Dawson-Dillard Funeral Home. 

Serving as casket bearers were Mozell Blair, Herbert Blair, Jimmie McCarroll, Herculee McCarroll, Perry Halstied and Frank Lornes.
