Services for Evelyn Marie Romines, 65, of Marietta, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the Christ Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Marietta with Rev. Ronnie Carroll officiating and Rev. Steven Carroll assisting. Interment will follow at the Crow Cemetery in Wilson, OK under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta.

Evelyn was born November 24, 1956, in Victoria, TX to Adam and Natividad (Lerma) Pena. Evelyn died December 16, 2021, in Gainesville TX.

Evelyn was a longtime area resident. She worked at the Pants Factory for many years, the Cookie Factory for 22+ years, and then she enjoyed staying home with her family as a homemaker. She married her love Roger Romines on July 21, 1992, in Gainesville. Evelyn loved her dogs and cats, shopping, gardening, flowers, birdwatching, and feeding the birds. She was always willing to help others, enjoyed watching Millie, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
 
Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Margarita Gilcrease, and sister-in-law, Sheila Canales.

Survivors include her husband Roger Romines of the home; son, Forrest Gilcrease and wife Ashlea of Leon; daughters, Jennifer Dees and husband Dan of Ardmore, OK, and Alexis Romines of Marietta; brother, Bobby Pena of Geary, OK; sister Ana Houston of Marietta; grandchildren, Larry Don Dees, Danielle Dees, Mackinzy Dees, Brianna Paul, Logan Paul, Hunter Cain, Ava Gilcrease, Bella Gilcrease, and Silas Ryan, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Macyn Knox, Maren Knox, and Amilia Orsack.

Serving as casket bearers are Jason Canales, Wes Cain, Larry Don Dees, Rod Houston, Wade Taliaferro, and Dalon Rhyne. Honorary bearers are Shane Patty, Shannon Patty, Austin Patty, Joe Pratt, Guy Patty, Truman Patty, Dan Dees, Larry Gilcrease, Richard Cain, and Mack Paul.
 
Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
