Services for Euna Ann Narmore, 84, Burneyville, were held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 2, in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Marietta, with the Rev. Wendall Brown officiating.

Interment was in the Burneyville Cemetery.

Born March 6, 1921, at Simon, the daughter of Carl C. and Hattie Cynthia Jane Cantrell Culwell, she died Monday, October 17, 2005, in the Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore. A resident of Love County most of her life, Mrs. Narmore attended school at Burneyville. She and Charles A. Narmore were married May 28, 1938, in Marietta, and he preceded her in death December 7, 1989. Mrs. Narmore made her home in Lawton for 30 years she worked as a cook for the Lawton Public Schools. After returning to Burneyville to make her home, Mrs. Narmore was employed as a cook for the Love County Health Center and at the Sanders Center, both in Marietta. One of her favorite pastimes was square dancing. She was a member of the Burneyville Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles Larry and Karen Narmore of Irving, Texas; two brothers and sister-in-law, Carl Culwell Jr. of Burneyville and James M. and Linda Culwell of Paris, Texas; a sister, Wanda Kingston of Marietta; a granddaughter, Kristine Narmore; and a host of nieces and nephews who she loved very much and who knew her as “Aunt Ann.”

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Culwell.

Pallbearers were Corky Cartwright, Lonnie Cavitt, Blake Hartwell, Brad Culwell, Robert Culwell and Joe Sheppard. Honorary pallbearers were Rex Harrill and Dutch Idell.
