Raymond Lyle Lain was born August 14, 1960, in Ardmore, OK to Virgie Christine (Walker) and Charles Dwayne Lain. He passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at his residence in Ardmore.
 
Raymond was raised in Burneyville, OK and graduated from Turner High School. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to go fishing, camping, and dirt bike riding in his younger years. 
He became a huge Nascar fan and loved to cheer on his favorite driver #2 Rusty Wallace. Raymond could build a house from the ground up and was often lending a hand to help others with their housing repairs. He also worked as a truck driver alongside his family for many years. Raymond was saved by our Lord and Savior this year and was baptized by Bob Walker.  
 
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dwayne Lain; grandparents, Charles H. and Sylvia Leona Lain, and Dr. Ethel M. Walker, M.D.; brother, Charles Ed Lain; uncles, Forrest Gene Lain, and Royce Glen Lain; and aunts, Norma Lain and Shirley Gulley.
 
Survivors include his children, Elizabeth Bartling, and Brandon Case; mother, Virgie Christine Lain; brother, Rodney Lain; sisters, Cathy Arthur, and Ramona Duke; aunt, Mary Walker and husband Bob; nieces, and nephews, Kellyn Lain, Kyleigh Loewen, Jake Arthur, and Stetson Duke.
 
Family graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Burneyville Cemetery.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta, OK.
