Jerrie Lou (Sturm) Hill


Jerrie Lou (Sturm) Hill passed away on Wednesday, May 25th at The Journey Home, surrounded by her family. She was 84.

Jerrie was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the daughter of H.D. "Bill" and Nadine (Albert) Sturm. Jerrie was married to Calvin Hill and her life's work was raising her three children; Tim, Julie and Sam. After her children left the home, Jerrie felt called back to caring for children and for 17 years she loved and nurtured many infants and toddlers at Kid's First Childcare. She then retired to spend her remaining years enjoying time with her family and friends. Jerrie was preceded in death by her father and mother, her brother, James "J.D." Sturm and her husband, Calvin.

She is survived by her brother, Don "Butch" Sturm and wife Carroll, son, Tim Hill and wife Debbie, daughter, Julie Hill Valerioti and husband Bill, son, Sam Hill and wife Tama, grandchildren, Josh Hill and wife Nicole, Meganne Valerioti Jones and husband Michael, Joe Valerioti and wife Natalie, Emily Valerioti and Sam Hill II; also, her three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Hill, Jerzie Hill and Lorelei Jones, as well as an aunt, several cousins, nieces and nephews. A small family gathering was held in memory of Jerrie.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
