Ramona "La Verne" (Childers) Hancharick
January 10, 1951 ~ January 4, 2018

Ramona "La Verne" Hancharick, 66, of Bartlesville departed this life on Thursday, January 4, 2018. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20th at Amazing Grace Community Church in Caney, KS. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

La Verne was born January 10, 1951 in Monterey, CA to James and Ramona (Marshall) Childers. She was an avid reader and retired as a librarian from Monterey County, CA. She enjoyed her hobbies which included scrapbooking and crafts of all kinds. La Verne loved her church and was an active member and Elder of Amazing Grace Community Church in Caney, KS. La Verne was a very generous and giving person who could always be counted on to help whoever would be in need.

La Verne is survived by her brother Pete Childers and wife Jeanne of Broken Arrow, OK along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
