Mark Allen Smith
(October 3, 1973 - December 26, 2011)


Mark Allen Smith was born on October 3, 1973 to Linda Diane Bennett and Bennie Smith in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He passed away in Guthrie on December 26, 2011, after a long battle with illness.

He was a graduate of Crescent High School and attended Vo Tech School.

Mark loved to go fishing and recently started gardening. He also loved sports. His favorite teams were Los Angeles Lakers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Survivors include his mother Linda Bennett of Crescent, his sister Mia Smith of the home, his brother Robert Earl Bennett (Tina) of Crescent. He is also survived by 3 nephews Taylor, Trey, and Trace, and by many cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Bennie Smith.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent with Rev. Jeffrey Jones, Rev. Mike Channel and Rev. Alan Nagel officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
