Morgan Everett Powell was born April 22, 1948 in Logan County, Oklahoma to Morgan and Bendina (Norwood) Powell. He passed away January 12, 2019 in Guthrie, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years.

Survivors include his six children, Kenny of Arlington, TX, Kevin of Guthrie, OK, Robert of Crescent, Ivan of Oklahoma City, Benjamin of El Reno, and Teresa of Oklahoma City; four brothers, Irvin of Oklahoma City, Ivan of Oklahoma City, Marshall of Crescent, and Glen of Stillwater; two sisters, LaVonna of Crescent and Jane of Edmond; nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

His was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert and one sister, LaRetta.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent with Rev. Jeffrey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home.
