Barbara Jo Weinand, age 83 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away August 28, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born January 8, 1935 to Walter and Nellie (Roberts) Charvoz in Guthrie.

Barbara lived in Guthrie most of her life. She married Robert “Bob” Knopfel who preceded her in death in 1989. She worked as a teller at First National Bank for 44 years. Barbara loved quilting, reading, and canning.

Survivors include her son Donald West and wife Hallie of Guthrie; sisters Shirley Dye and husband J.L. of Crescent and Linda Fuller and husband Terry of Guthrie; grandchildren Amy Westwood of Seattle, Washington, Lisa Beck and husband James of Mustang, Donald West Jr. and wife Josie of Edmond; and six great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Ruby Helms.

Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Friday, August 31, 2018 at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Rob McElroy officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 12 P.M. until 7 P.M. and Friday from 9 A.M. until 10 A.M.

Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
