Charles W. Webb

Born: September 16, 1932
Died: January 02, 2011

Charles W. Webb died January 2, 2011 at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, OK. He was born in Orlando, OK on September 16, 1932. He and his wife, Kay, resided in Edmond, OK. Charles was a veteran of the United Stated Air Force and served during the Korean War on the island of Okinawa. After his military service, he worked for AT&T and retired in 1989 after 32 years of service.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by all of his friends and family and known as a kind and gentle man.

He is survived by his wife Kay Donna, two sons Kent H. Webb and Drew D. Webb, three granddaughters Jessica, Aubrey, and Brigitte Webb, two brothers Bill Webb and Doyle Webb, two sisters Kathryn Feken and Gwen Gillette, and cousin Don Webb as well as many nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother and father, Charles and Irene Webb and two brothers Burrell Webb and Lynn Webb.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Community Church at I-35 and Seward Road, Guthrie, OK with Pastor Bill Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Visitation will be Wednesday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
