Manford Leland Warren
Born: May 24, 1930
Died: December 25, 2010

Manford Leland Warren, 80, of Guthrie, OK went to join his wife on December 25, 2010. He was born May 24, 1930 to Otis and Ila Warren in Perkins, OK.

He joined the Army before finishing high school to serve proudly during the Korean War. He returned to finish school and marry his high school sweetheart, Faye Biggs, on June 22, 1952. They have four children.

Leland was co-owner of Warren Monument Company. He loved the outdoors. He spent most of his free time raising a garden and giving it away. He loved spending time with the grandchildren.

Leland is survived by three daughters Charolett and Randy Roby of Cashion, OK, Clara and Gerald Duehning of Guthrie, and Tina Gilliam of Oklahoma City, OK; one son Berry and Flo Warren of Guthrie; special son-in-law Willie Gilliam; twelve grandchildren Larry and Patty Duehning, Mike and Nancy Duehning, Matt and Deanna Duehning, Kyle and Tanya Walker, James and Dannita Duehning, Chris and Amber Roby, Lindsey Roby, Willie and Ashley Gilliam, Sarah and Mathew Kohler, Mathew and Annette Warren, Brett and Treasa Huffer, and Bryon Huffer; eighteen great-grandchildren Darren, Aaron, Taylor, Colton, Allison, Madison, Michael, Shawn, Joey, Sage, Kinley, Teagan, Easton, Karlie, Courtney, Alex, Tristan, and Ian; one great-great-granddaughter Eva; one brother Max Warren; and two sisters Doris and Don Boston of Page, AZ and Alice Winters of Guthrie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Faye, two brothers-in-law George Woodard and Leon Winters, and one sister-in-law Darlene Warren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robin R. Grueser of Free Methodist Church of Guthrie and Reverend Curtis Robertson of Crosspointe Community Baptist Church of Edmond, OK officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Guthrie Free Methodist Church, 1124 West Mansur, Guthrie, OK 73044.
