Robert Eugene Sullivan

Robert E. Sullivan, 61, passed away on July 16, 2011 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Oklahoma City, OK.

Robert Eugene Sullivan was born on January 8, 1950. He was the youngest child of Fred W. and Ruby Lee (Bourland) Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan is survived by his brother Fred W. Sullivan and his wife Kathy of Brooklyn Park, MN; sisters Edith Tenney and her husband Ray of Guthrie, OK and Barbara Ryan and her husband Dick of Edmond, OK; one son Robby Joe Sullivan; three nephews Tim Anderson of Guthrie, Jeffrey Sullivan of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and Jeremy Sullivan of Orlando, FL; niece Kathleen Ercanbrack of Austin, TX; and a very special long-time friend Linda Powell of Guthrie.

Mr. Sullivan retired from Oklahoma Department of Transportation. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Summit View Cemetery with Reverend David Nolen of First Southern Baptist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 54, Guthrie, OK 73044 or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, 825 Northeast 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104-9930.

At the family’s request, there will be no visitation.
