Patricia Joyce Smith, 77, of Guthrie, OK went home to Heaven on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. She was born on August 22, 1932 in Guthrie to Joe and Nellie (Pfalzgraf) Schmiedbauer.

Joyce graduated from Guthrie High School in 1951. She retired from Logan County Hospital.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond “Dick” Smith; sister Jean Ledington; and son Richard Smith.

She is survived by one son Stephen Smith and wife Linda of Guthrie; one daughter Rita Warshell and husband Rex of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandsons Christopher Smith, Anthony Smith; and Greg Mahar; three granddaughters Renee Hall, Sarah Hillian, and Erica Highsmith; one great-grandson Parker Smith; and one great-granddaughter Kensley Highsmith.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Denis Hanrahan officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Visitation will be Wednesday until 5:00 p.m.
