Norma Leah Smith
Born: February 22, 1926
Died: January 25, 2009

Graveside funeral services for Norma Leah Smith, 82, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice of Guthrie officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Norma was born on February 22, 1926 in Kansas City, MO to Christ and Elsie A. (Kaegi) Bodensteiner. She died Sunday, January 25, 2009 in Guthrie.

Norma was a seamstress for many years and enjoyed doing crafts.

She is survived by three sons Charles "Chuck" Henke and wife Ronda of Lucien, OK, Brian K. Smith of Oklahoma City, OK, and Britt W. Smith and wife Patricia of Guthrie; one daughter Carla Lattimore and husband Frank "Butch" of Edmond, OK; one step-son Steven Smith and wife Kathy of El Reno, OK; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, husband Billie Jack Smith in 2001, and brother Wayne Bodensteiner.

At the family’s request, the casket will not be open.
