Lloyd Cody Short was born in Oklahoma City, OK on August 25, 1984. He passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Guthrie.

Cody worked on the farm. He also loved hunting, going to the lake, fishing, swimming and riding in the boat.

Cody is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Richardson; his grandparents, Lyle and Violet Friday; his great-grandmother and great-grandpa as well as his great-aunts and great-uncles.

He is survived by his son, Jaxson Cody Short of Guthrie; his parents, Mike and Terri Friday; his brothers, Brandon Friday and wife, Mary Jo of Yukon, OK and Caleb Friday and wife, River of Guthrie; as well as his nephew, Carson of Yukon. Cody is also survived by his fiance, Barbarina Costello of Coyle, OK; his grandmother, Beverly Richardson of Guthrie and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 31, 2019 at SouthPointe Baptist Church with Pastor Robby Robbins officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

Closed casket visitation will be held Thursday, 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M
