Richard Mark Roettger

Died: December 30, 2008

Funeral services for Richard “Rich” Mark Roettger, 55, of Edmond, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Smith Memorial Chapel, Guthrie, OK with Pastor Robby Robbins of Bible Baptist Church, Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Rich was born on March 2, 1953 in North Platte, NE to Hugh Richard and Pauline (Doxie) Roettger. He died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at his home.

Rich married DeAnna Kay Southern on October 1, 2005 in Sallisaw, OK. His hobbies included photography, golf, hunting, cooking, and playing pool. He also loved his cats dearly and had a deep admiration for music of all types.

He is survived by his wife DeAnna Kay Roettger; one son Paul Roettger; two daughters Tracie Roettger and Cindy Roettger; two step-sons Frankie Stoneking, Jr. and Ryan Stoneking; one sister Gloria Roettger; father-in-law Gary Southern, Sr.; one brother-in-law Gary Southern, Jr.; and three sisters-in-law Tammy Riggs, Faye Gibbins, and Noel Downing.

Rich is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be emailed to smith-gallo@sbcglobal.net.
