Mary M. Scannell-Reupert

Born: October 23, 1951
Died: March 04, 2016

Mary Scannell-Reupert, born October 23rd, 1951 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Frances Naomi Evaline Cleek-Scannell and Charles Edward Scannell, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 4, 2016 at her home in Guthrie, Oklahoma, surrounded by her immediate family. She was 64 years old.

Preceding her in death were: both parents; sister-in-law, Ruby Scannell; and step-sister, LaDonna Smith.

Mary is survived by Robert, her husband of 46 years; daughter, Julie Ann Reupert-Cook and son-in-law Kevin of Guthrie; granddaughter, Madison Cook; sister, Shirley Krueger of Minco; brother Jack Scannell and sister-in-law, Marjorie of Haskell; niece, Sara Johnson and husband Justin of Minco; and nephew Doug Thompson of Edmond.

Mary was a lifelong stay-at-home mother and homemaker, but worked very briefly outside the home for The First National Bank and Autoquip.

Mary enjoyed decorating, gardening, and going to church. She spent many years volunteering as a Pink Lady at Guthrie Hospital, delivering mobile meals, ushering at The Pollard Theater, and working at God’s Food Bank. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Funeral Services for Mary will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 7, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Robbie Robbins officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016, 3:00 PM-8:00 PM.

Friends may sign the online guestbook.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to God’s Food Bank would be appreciated.
