Daniel "Tom" Thomas Reece, Jr. was born June 22, 1949 in Anadarko, OK to Daniel and Pearlene (Lawson) Reece, Sr. He passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK with family by his side.

Tom was an Army Veteran having served in the United States Army from 1969 - 1971 during the Vietnam War. He was also a Lifetime Member of the VFW Post 4578 and the American Legion Post 0058.

On June 1, 1973, he married the love of his life, Debra Diane Roden. The two lived in Guthrie, OK and built their lives with two sons, Greg Allen Reece and Jason Thomas Reece.

Tom worked in concrete and construction from 1965 until his passing. He was also a member of SouthPointe Baptist Church.

Tom was a dedicated father and a fun and loving grandfather to seven grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Tom enjoyed taking the grands to lunch dates at Katie's Diner where he would always brag about them. He also loved meeting his friends for coffee in the mornings at Braum's where laughter would fill the whole place and you knew Tom had everyone smiling and laughing. He always had encouraging words to say and almost always left everyone with a smile and precious memory. His laugh was one of a kind and he never met a stranger. He truly loved his wife, family, friends, and his grandchildren with all his heart.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Reece; sons, Greggory Allen Reece and Jason Reece and wife Marsha of Guthrie; and seven grandchildren, Devin, Myah, and Zane Reece, Rylan and Brayson Reece, and Kaleb and Brooklyn Hendershott. He is also survived by one special grandchild in Christian Reece.

Funeral services for Tom will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at SouthPointe Baptist Church with interment to follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

There will not be any visitation.
