Carl Dean Oliver, age 59 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away May 3, 2018 in Guthrie. He was born August 28, 1958 in Lamar, Colorado to William and Irene (Nelson) Oliver.

Carl attended Guthrie Schools and on June 14, 1997 he married Kathleen Suzanne Smith.

Carl loved to hunt and fish. He always wanted to help others before taking care of himself.

Survivors include his wife Kathy; mother Irene Jones and husband Arnold of Guthrie; children Justin Dennis, Wendy Porter and husband Dustin, and Paige Oliver, all of Guthrie; brother David Oliver and wife Sheila of Guthrie; and four grandchildren: Jaelynn Bailey, Reese Porter, Ryan Bailey, and Jaxon Porter. Carl was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be held on May 7, 2018 at 1 P.M. at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Arnold Jones and Reverend Ron Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on May 6, 2018 from 12 P.M. until 7 P.M.

Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
