  Doug Miller, 80, left our world on December 1st, 2017, with family by his side, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was born May 14th, 1937, in Portland, Oregon. 

He was known as a master of his craft (Upholstery and Furniture Building) for over 50 years. Some of his work has been in the Governors mansions of Iowa and Oklahoma, as well as a few design publications. Later in his life, he moved to Guthrie Lake which gave him the opportunity to continue his work while being able to enjoy one of his lifelong passions of fishing. Many in Guthrie may remember him as the Guthrie lake ranger for several years. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Sabrina; sons, Victor and Sean; daughters Annette, Barbara and Heather; brother, Ron; sisters, Carol and Claudette; grandchildren, Melinda, Blake, Kailey, Alex, Morgan, Laura, Samantha, Alan, Nikki, Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Corbin, Kellan and Emma. He also leaves behind numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Victor, parents, Ruby and Estel and Son in law, Rudy.

Graveside funeral services for Douglas W. Miller will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday, December 4, 2017 at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Monday, 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M.
